Egadi Islands

AND SAN VITO LO CAPO

eMMecharter offers you the ideal sailing cruise among the Egadi Islands. Sun, sea, sails and good vibes! Jump on board and sail away with us!

The Egadi Islands are a step back in time — and a step forward in the way we travel.
This sailing cruise departs from Trapani and moves slowly among some of the most unspoilt islands in the Mediterranean. Favignana, Levanzo, Marettimo: essential lands, shaped by the wind, where the sea is still part of everyday life.

You sail through bays steeped in memory, where the sea tells ancient and profound stories. Clear waters, protected seabeds, anchorages that ask only for silence and respect. Here, time stretches out: a long swim, the sun circling the boat, a simple lunch that tastes of the sea.

Days unfold naturally, without forcing the pace. Slow breakfasts on board, shared dinners, sunsets that need no commentary. Night arrives gently, with a sky full of stars and the sea rocking the boat, while everything else feels far away.

In the Egadi Islands, sailing is not a choice — it is the only right way to be here.
To sail sustainably, to arrive on tiptoe, to feel part of the landscape rather than a passing guest.

Trapani - Levanzo - Favignana - Marettimo - San Vito lo Capo - Riserva dello Zingaro

Typical Programme:

  • Saturday: 15:00 – Boarding in Trapani. Cabin allocation followed by provisioning. Depending on weather conditions, departure towards the Egadi Islands or San Vito Lo Capo for an overnight at anchor under the stars.
  • Sunday: Breakfast on board and course set for San Vito Lo Capo. A day of swimming and sailing along the coast dominated by the town of Erice, witness to the events of the Punic Wars. Overnight at anchor.
  • Monday: Breakfast on board and swims among the coves of the Zingaro Nature Reserve. Lunch on board, then sailing to Levanzo, the smallest of the Egadi Islands. Dinner and overnight at anchor.
  • Tuesday: Breakfast on board and sailing to Marettimo, the wildest and most remote of the islands, dominated by Mount Falcone and rich in spectacular natural caves. The island is famous for hikes along trails leading to the ruins of Roman settlements and to the marine reserve, reachable by the boats of local fishermen. Swim in the natural pool of Cala Manione and a swim between the Camel Cave and its camel-shaped sea stack. Dinner and overnight in Marettimo, at anchor or in port depending on sea conditions.
  • Wednesday: Breakfast on board and navigation towards Favignana, the largest island, with its distinctive butterfly shape. Its name comes from the local building stone, known as favignana, quarried from the island’s tufa caves. Highlights include Palazzo Florio, the historic tuna processing factory, and Cala Rossa, the island’s iconic inlet. Dinner and overnight in port in Favignana.
  • Thursday: Breakfast on board or ashore. A day of swimming around Favignana, discovering its turquoise-water coves. You may be fortunate — or unfortunate — witnesses to the mattanza, the brutal ritual that still takes place in these waters. Overnight at anchor.
  • Friday: Breakfast on board and a swim at Cala Rossa, the island’s most iconic bay. In the afternoon, sailing back to Trapani, where the night will be spent in port.
  • Saturday: Breakfast on board and disembarkation at 09:00.

NOTE: The itinerary may be subject to changes depending on weather and sea conditions, in order to always ensure the best possible experience.
